A unique experience! We loved our suite called Bonnie and Clyde (only the suites have your own toilet and shower). The bed was very comfy, the pillows great, and a big TV. Everything seemed nice and clean. Paper towels, toilet paper and shampoo/conditioner were there. We would definitely book that room again! I greatly enjoyed going downstairs into the cellar to the drunk tank. The wine slushes were good and made with pure wine (most aren’t). I meant to only go down there for maybe 30 mins. But stayed down there for 2 hours chatting with the nicest fun lady and some other friendly people. There was a coffee pot downstairs in the kitchen to make a whole thing of coffee, but a single cup option would be nice. There is a coffee shop within a 5 min walk called the “Mustard Seed” that made a delicious latte! “Aaron’s on the square” right next to the jail was great for breakfast! For restaurants the 36 Saloon (walking distance, very close) was just OK on the food. It was mostly good for entertainment and drinks. Benjamin’s Family restaurant (just a 3 min drive) was delicious and a very popular place with lots of seating inside. If you want something else to do, Billie Creek, an old town of old buildings put together was cute to walk around and see. It was free. We loved the town of Rockville and will be back!!

We ended up staying here last minute after our other hotel we had booked was terrible. Hosts are awesome and very accommodating. They did a real good job with different themes for all the rooms. Definetly recommend. Hotel has a nice small town vibe stay and very clean.

Stayed one night while on a motorcycle trip. We had a great stay. The host was friendly and gracious, and the facility was clean and well stocked. Great experience all around and a great value. We stayed in the Indian Room and it was unique and fun. The bed was soooo comfortable. We slept great. Snacks are on site and available for a reasonable cost. Coffee and water provided. Fun town with many options for dining and other services. It is a convenient location to covered bridges, Turkey Run Park and Raccoon Lake. Highly recommended and we will be back. Thanks for a great stay!

If you're ever in Rockville, and looking for a cool experience, HIGHLY recommend staying at the Old Jail Inn! Very cool and fun experience getting to stay in these cells, learning some of the history, and getting to be part of it. In the basement is the "Drunk Tank Winery" which has a wide selection of wines, and definitely adds to the experience here. The staff were GREAT, made the stay even more enjoyable. Will definitely be staying here again in the future!

A unique and fun experience, run by people who really like to welcome travellers to their town. The location on the square is perfect, good for walking around the town yet quiet at night. The building is clean and well maintained. We stayed in the Bonnie and Clyde Suite, which had its own toilet, shower and sink. Wasn't claustrophobic since there was natural light from a window outside the bars. I'm not sure if I'd like staying in the small cells as they don't have windows and share a bathroom. The kitchenette comes in handy and we enjoyed the front porch. We'd definitely stay again.

If you are looking for something different, weird, unique, fun, oddball, or if you just want to be able to tell people you spent the night in jail (I mean, who doesn't? ), this is it! I thought it was a great place, very convenient for what I was doing this weekend (maple festival, covered bridges and hiking!). I thought it might be a little bit creepy, it is an old jail, after all, but it was not at all. I had the Bonnie and Clyde suite (because it is a "suite", I had my own bathroom) - it was interesting to see bits of their timeline - and some of the graffiti in this room was hilarious. The shower did take a bit of time to heat up, but then it got very hot and it was plenty good. The towels were big and thick. One note, if you are a big guy, you might feel a little cramped in the shower. Possibly. The bed was comfortable, there was plenty of lighting, and the room was actually really quiet. There's street parking right in front or on the side. I did not check out the Drunk Tank bar in the basement, but I heard no noise from it. Check-in was easy and I was very happy with my room!

Went with a friend, we were a bit nervous about staying in jail for the weekend. It was great!! The staff is amazingly friendly. They kept the jail - there is no question about where you are staying. We met a great group of people and had so much fun interacting with everyone! Highly recommend!
